westinghouse antique electric gyro ceiling fan Start Price USD 199.00 Current Price USD 3,749.00 Time Left - Bid Count 14 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, September 01, 2008 End Time Monday, September 08, 2008 Location Clermont, FL See more about 'westinghouse antique electric gyro ceiling fan' Description Westinghouse gyro fan, complete with downrod ceiling canopy, blades and original switch.  The internal mechanisms are all present and working, including drive spring and idler pulley.  Both motors run, but the head wires are disconnected from the hub commutator and need replacing as expected.  The track spring moves when the slave motor is running, however, I did not attempt to wire and hang the assembly to determine if a complete revolution would occur.  The motor tilt mechanism is complete and working.  The hub end of one armature shaft was slightly bent when I acquired the fan but was repaired and trued by master craftsman Darryl Hudson.  The six-wing blades are in excellent shape, with only one wrinkle as pointed out by the arrow in the picture.  To fix this, I am including a third six-wing blade with four good wings in the event the buyer wants to swap out a wing.  Both hubs tags are intact, and the brush caps are also intact.  These ceiling fans did not come with blade guards.   As most fan folks will know, it is unusual to find one of these with the original switch intact.  This is very heavy, and will be packed in two boxes, each double boxed.  Expect to actual costs for double packing, two boxes, 40+ pounds, insured UPS ground from zip 34711.  Or if you are in Florida, I will deliver at no charge within a 50 mile radius of Orlando, Fl.  I ship on Fridays only.  Shipping charge noted herein is estimate only.  You will pay the actual shipping costs only, which may be higher or lower.  Place a Bid!
