This piece is not only a work of art but its also multi functionally as well, there is a circular opening inbetween both wings therefore it can be used as a oil lamp, candle holder which any one of these choices will illuminate the vivid red crystal eyes and the emphasize the elegant flow of its swirling graceful body's design. Other suggestions for use are as a cone incense burner or can put a large colored or clear crystal ball in the center in between its open wings. Once again James Lane Casey has proved his talents in one of his earlier  pewter sculptors with this exceptional creation. It depicts a majestic, slender, sleek dragon sitting comfortably looking forward in the distance with its sparkling piercing red, multi-faceted Swarovski Austrian crystal eyes. The dragons wings have sharp pointed open  wings, done in smooth polished pewter and its body is designed with small pitted repitilian scaled skin and starting from top of its head to its spine are sharp spikes to its very long skinny spiraling tail with sporadically placed circular like bumps and this pattern is duplicated also on the rest of his body which this particular design is commonly used in my of James Lane Casey's dragon designs.  It has amazing intricate detail which as with all of James Lane Casey's pieces shows his great versality and unbelievable talent and this piece truly captures the essence of this fabulous creative scupltors craftsmanship that will be appreciated through the years and are works of art and highly collectable!        Measures 3" tall and 8 1/4" long     Please check out my other pewter items I have listed this week.
