Once again James Lane Casey has proved his talents in one of his earlier  pewter sculptors with this exceptional creation. It depicts a majestic, proud, slender dragon looking in the distance as he sits perched high and comfortably on a jagged rock cliff guarding the entrance below him patiently waiting for any unsuspecting visitors. He sits with his piercing eyes looking over the cliff as he sits with one talon clawed hand on his knee and his other talon claw hand rests upon on belly like he's anticipating his next meal hopefully will come along soon. He has a goatee beard and very sharp pointed open veined wings,the inside is done in polished pewter and the outside wings are small repitilian scaled skin with small circular like bumps and this pattern is duplicated also on the rest of his body. He has mohawk style hair running down its long neck to very his long skinny spiral tail coiling itself againest the rocky cliff and one knee. It has amazing intricate detail which as with all of James Lane Casey's pieces shows his great versality and unbelievable talent and this piece truly captures the essence of this fabulous creative scupltors craftsmanship that will be appreciated through the years and are works of art and highly collectable!        Measures 4 3/4" tall     Please check out my other pewter items I have listed this week.
