This is an antique ceiling fan rescued from a remodeling project.  This is a very heavy fan, about 65 lbs.  The blades are solid wood and appear to be from another vintage fan, a Hunter.  The motor runs smoothly and has 3 speeds adjustable by a knob on the bottom of the unit. This fan uses oil to lubricate the motor (which we have removed for shipping.) The fan is suspended by a standard steel pipe so changing the hanging length is just a matter of obtaining a standard piece of threaded pipe of the desired length.  The manufacture date is some where in the early 1920s.    The Label reads:   Century Alternating current fan Manufactured in U.S.A.
