PRESENTED FOR AUCTION/SALE IS THE FOLLOWING ITEM: Description: Charming Handmade Norwegian Candlestick Holder. Beautiful Norway landscape scenes are depicted around the outer edge of the tray showing skiing, farming, fishing, sunset, and trees. The signature reads, "Hand Made Pewter Norway" and 1938 is etched on the bottom, although we do not know if this refers to a date of purchase or an inventory number of the original owner. The original tag was removed, you can see the residue from where it came off. The tray is 5.5" wide and the piece stands approximately 3" tall. The handle has pretty hammered detailing. Overall a lovely and elegant piece. This piece was purchased from a local estate. We will be offering up a number of items from this lot. Please see detailed photos below. Condition: This beautiful candlestick holder shows average wear for its age as vintage metalware goes. It has normal signs of wear with no glaring deficiencies. There is a scratch mark from inside the candle that extends up to the lip, however, this is seen only on close inspection.
