Description
Hand Blown Glass Serpentine Dragon with Crystal Eyes    NEVER a RESERVE PRICE on ANY of our auctions. We think this keeps everything simple and you, the buyer, can bid with confidence. New Original Design by Kevin Prochaska, Glass artist at Disneyland for more than 10 years.  This serpent like dragon is made from borosilicate crystal and trimmed with 24K gold.  In its claw it holds a large 14 mm faceted crystal ball that is specially cut to show a prismatic rainbow of colors. The magical colors on the dragon are created when pure gold is applied to the glass while it is still molten. Dragon’s red eyes are also cut from crystal. Serpent measures approximately 8” long and stands 5” tall.  An attractive information card, trimmed in gold foil accompanies the piece making it an ideal gift as well. To learn more about the artist and his work, which has appeared in numerous feature length films, and even at the Whitehouse, visit prochaskagalleries.com.  Retails at specialty shops for $169.00. E-mail your questions to glassartyst@prochaskagalleries.com.   Safe Shipping Guarantee   Safe arrival and your complete satisfaction are always guaranteed. Extraordinary care is taken to insure the safe arrival of your blown glass figurine.  We use a three-step process that has resulted in the safe shipment of thousands of Prochaska Galleries sculptures over the past 30 years.   Step 1: As it is being made, the glass blower takes special care to reinforce all stress points to help protect against shock damage.  Additionally all natural stresses are removed from the glass by a high temperature tempering process called annealing.    Step 2: After the figurine is removed from our annealing oven it is thoroughly inspected by the artist who makes certain that all internal stresses have been removed from the glass and that its surfaces have been properly vitrified.   Step 3: Finally, it’s time for careful packaging in not one, but two cartons. Both are filled with shock absorption materials.   The sculpture itself is firmly held in place inside the internal carton so as to prevent movement.  Loose fill between the two cartons guards against shock and the external box protects against obvious damage.   Our Guarantee: If for any reason you are unhappy with the quality of any piece of art from Prochaska Galleries, simply return it for a full refund or replacement, customer's choice. (We do ask that we be notified within 7 days of receipt of your order if you are not 100% satisfied). We accept PayPal, personal checks and money orders and ship via UPS/insured under normal circumstances.     Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool.
