Measures approx 70" x 70". Absolutely outstanding stitching set against colorful vintage materials and Civil War Soldiers/Veterans ribbons. These ribbons mostly date from the 1890s and a few from the early 1900s. There are two names stitched within one of the center squares - appears to be "Mr. Smith 89" and "Mary R. Smith 99" (see pics). Undoubtedly, this is certainly a rare post Civil War era crazy quilt. As you can see from the pictures, it is need of some professional repair. Certainly worthy of some restoration and deserves to be proudly museum displayed. I do not have any provenance on this quilt as it has been in my family for so many years, and unfortunately those who would have had history are no longer here. Please view the pictures.
